I just kept renaming the file until the shell boot. I did try shell圆4.efi & the default name of Shell_Full.efi, but those didn't work. I had to re-format my USB stick as FAT, put the shell linked in the page in the specified folder from the askubuntu link: ![]() Once I figured out my I needed to complete the flashing in a UEFI shell, I used this to get me across the finish line: Although the shell I used automatically listed the devices w/o having to type a command: I also referred to this on switching to the appropriate device. Which was just a specific version of this for the M1115: ![]() So these are the instructions I followed to get the firmware/bios updated: MUCH SUCCESS! Well, that is after I figured out how to load a UEFI shell.
